This policy explains what CNC Strategies Group Inc. ("we," "us") collects on cncstrategies.us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what you choose to give us, we use it to send you what you asked for, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Our free tools run their math in your browser, on your device. Dollar figures you type into a tool are used for the on-screen calculation and are not transmitted to us. When you submit your email to see or receive results, we receive your name, your email address, and summary results such as a verdict, a score, or a coarse band, never the underlying financial figures you entered. The one exception is the EBITDA Reckoning's send-for-review feature, which transmits your worksheet only if you press the button that says so.
Information you give us directly: your name and email address when you request a chapter, tool results, or updates; your answers and summary results from the tools as described above; anything you include when you email us. Purchase information: when you buy the book, our payment processor collects your payment details and shipping address; we receive your name, contact information, shipping address, and order details, but not your full card number. Automatic information: like most websites, our hosting and marketing platform collects standard usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring links, using cookies and similar technologies, to make the site work and to measure what's useful.
To deliver what you requested, such as Chapter One, tool result summaries, and the emails you signed up for. To fulfill and ship book orders and respond to questions. To send occasional emails about the book, the tools, and related resources, every one of which includes an unsubscribe link that works. To understand which content is useful and improve the site. To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run this operation, our website and marketing platform, our email delivery service, our payment processor, and shipping carriers, each of which is permitted to use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Use it once and the emails stop. Transactional messages, such as an order confirmation, may still be sent when you buy something.
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it. We use commercially reasonable safeguards through our service providers, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address below. Residents of California and certain other states have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we honor these requests for everyone regardless of state. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
This site is about selling machine shops. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
